In Darwin’s Footsteps

Reserved BirdsWith the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth just celebrated, what could be more fitting than a trip to the Galapagos Islands. But Darwin also visited the Ecuadorian mainland where over 1500 species of birds are to be found, such as colourful and elusive hummingbirds.  The presentation includes both the mainland wildlife and also takes you on a cruise around the ‘Enchanted Isles’, as Darwin called them, where many species are unique to this volcanic island archipelago.  The wildlife is so tame at times that you have to back off to get your photography!
